Introducing Our New Director of Development!

|

I’m Gabriela Estala-Lopez, an Albuquerque native and UNM alumna with a heart for community work. My journey started at Global Ties ABQ and led to a focus on reproductive health care with Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. I am a fierce supporter of how and when people choose to start their families and the power of educating our communities. As Dar a Luz’s first Director of Development, I’m excited to advocate, fundraise, and support our incredible team.

I know it’s been awhile since you’ve heard from us, but you can expect our newsletters again the first week of each month. I’m so grateful for your patience, your support, and for everything you did to keep DAL’s doors open last year.

Can’t wait to meet you soon!

What’s New at DAL?

This past year has been one of growth and changes at DAL! In the last few months, we’ve added new team members, had an incredible Pints and Parenthood event at Marble Brewery, attended the UNM Evaluation Lab courtesy of the Anderson Foundation, and we hosted a successful Open House event for local non-profit organizations, regional political representatives, and community leaders to learn more about Dar a Luz (picture above provided by Nicole Bradshaw Photography).

We are honored to be one of the recipients of a 2024 United Way of Central New Mexico Community Grants! We thank them for their investment in the incredible work of DAL.

We are ready to move into the next financially sustainable phase of our birth center and could greatly use your support! We ask that you consider making a donation below so that we can ensure Dar a Luz’s growth, stability, and success.
